ENVIRONMENT:
Our client is seeking an Operations Coordinator who is passionate about transforming urban environments through data and technology. If you thrive in a collaborative setting where innovation drives impactful change in city living, this is the role for you! As the Operations Coordinator, you’ll be key in ensuring the seamless execution of operational activities, coordinating the development and implementation of both technical and non-technical solutions across various use cases. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including product development and partner support, you’ll ensure contracts are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.
 
DUTIES:
  • Providing administrative and logistics support to the Chief Operating Officer.
  • Monitoring and mapping operational processes to highlight bottlenecks and support smooth and efficient delivery.
  • Monitoring and ensuring resource capacity to support delivery and planning of project work.
  • Maintaining open and transparent relationships with key role players within the group to gather or provide critical information for decision-making and planning.
  • Creating tools and reference documents to support operational effectiveness and accurate record-keeping.
  • Fulfilling this role according to the company’s  aspirational culture, leadership brand and work ethos.
  • Growing professionally and developing personal competence to fulfil this role in a rapidly scaling and increasingly impactful organisation.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in administration OR equivalent experience.
  • Project management certification is advantageous.
 
Skills and technical expertise:
  • Knowledge of the civic tech environment is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the NPO environment is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of and experience working with Notion, Slack, Microsoft, Google Suite, Toggl etc. would be an advantage.
 
Experience:
  • Operations coordinator experience in a tech environment.
  • Project management experience is advantageous.
  • Demonstrable ability to meet deadlines and promote excellent results.
  • Experience documenting processes and reporting internally.
  • Experience implementing systems and processes within an organisation.
 
 
ATTRIBUTES:
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to deal calmly with emergencies, to develop plans to solve problems and to make good decisions under pressure.
  • Assertiveness in a diverse context.
  • Ability to work remotely.
  • A basic digital vocabulary and the ability to understand and learn about technical concepts. 
  • Strong organisational and time management skills and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple deliveries concurrently.
